The Three Towers on Main Street, Thomaston, CT
This painting is an image of the Trinity Church, the 'old' Thomaston Fire Station tower, and the Thomaston Opera House clock tower on Main Street. The view is looking north from the far side of the traffic circle. This painting was based on a photo taken on an early June morning when the iris's on the traffic circle were in full bloom. Thomaston is a small town located in the ‘North West Hills’of Connecticut in Litchfield County, and is also the home town of Seth Thomas, founder of the Seth Thomas Clock Factory.
