The Courthouse, Litchfield, CT
Painting of the Courthouse located on West Street, on the beautiful green in the center of downtown Litchfield, in the North West Hills of CT. The granite block structure was built in 1888-1889, in the Romanesque Revival style, complete with a Seth Thomas clock tower. The Courthouse was recently closed in 2017, as it was replaced with a newly constructed Courthouse in Torrington, CT. The future of this old historic building is not yet known.
