Covenant Church of Thomaston CT
The painting was requested as a commission work that was a gift from the church members, to the recently retiring Paster, Tim Olsen.  The view is looking southeast from an unusual vantage point, that looks through the trees of several backyards of homes on Grove Street.  Thomaston is a small town located in the northwest hills of Connecticut in Litchfield County, and is also the hometown of Seth Thomas, founder of the Seth Thomas Clocks.
