An oil painting of the steeple of the Covenant Church of Thomaston CT

The painting was requested as a commission work that was a gift from the church members, to the recently retired Paster, Tim Olsen.  The view is looking south east from an unusual vantage point, that looks through the trees of the  backyards of several homes on Grove Street.  Thomaston is a small town located in the north west hills of Connecticut in Litchfield County, and is also the home town of Seth Thomas, founder of  the Seth Thomas Clock Factory.
