“Glimpses of Southern Maine” is a collection inspired by the familiar landscapes and quiet moments found along the southern Maine coast. From the rocky shoreline and iconic Nubble Light in York to the beach roses, weathered dune fences and rolling surf of Ogunquit’s Footbridge Beach, each painting captures a different glimpse of a coastline that generations have returned to year after year. In Wells, the view turns inland across the peaceful salt marshes of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge toward the summer homes of Wells Beach. Together, these paintings celebrate more than well-known places—they reflect the sights, colors and small details that become part of our memories of time spent by the sea.
