Spring Awakening
Touch of Sweden Collection
The quiet awakening of a New England spring provides the setting for this piece. Pussy willows and cheerful yellow blossoms rise from a simple pottery pitcher, while a traditional basket adds the familiar warmth of country life. Nestled alongside are two brightly painted Swedish folk-art roosters, bringing color, heritage and a playful touch of Sweden to the scene. Beyond the old window, the muted landscape is only beginning to turn green—a glimpse of that brief season when winter finally gives way and the first signs of spring appear.
